ReStore accepts donated building materials, furniture, appliances and home décor and sells to the public to raise funds for Florence Habitat for Humanity’s local home building projects.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Manage ReStore Operations

  • Encourage Donations and Foster Support with Partners in the Community

  • Marketing and Community Relations

  • Recommend and Implement Policies and Procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS 

  • Understand and appreciate the Habitat for Humanity mission

  • Two years or more retail, business, or equivalent experience required

  • Customer Service experience required

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and the ability to multi-task

  • Ability to work effectively with donors and volunteers

  • Local travel and reliable transportation required

  • Valid Oregon driver’s license and good driving record required

 

RESPONSIBILITY AND SUPERVISION 

Performs duties under general supervision of the Executive Director. Uses judgment in making choices and taking action on various tasks guided by policies and procedures. Independent judgment is required in making decisions pertaining to the program operations, budgeting, health and safety of volunteers, staff, and the protection of the facilities.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

This individual will be expected to assist the staff in performing store functions: Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Move objects frequently. Frequently required to reach, grasp, talk, hear, see, stand, walk, read, write, climb, balance, push, lift, stoop, crouch, sit, and use repetitive motions. Work in heated and unheated areas, in-doors and outside, in a variety of weather conditions.
