Volunteer Opportunities

·       Cashiering:  Ring up sales; accept payment and make proper change; reconcile till; prepare deposits; complete daily sales reports with high degree of accuracy.

·       Customer Service:  Provide friendly and professional customer service; greet customers; answer questions; assist with merchandise; clarify policies; resolve disputes; answer phones; schedule pick-up and delivery services; assist customers with loading purchases in vehicles.

·       Merchandising:  Maintain sales floor in logical and attractive displays; organize ever-changing inventory in available space; assist donors with unloading donated items; accept and process donated inventory; clean shelves and retail displays; create in-store promotional signs, price tags, etc.; update social media (Facebook, Craig’s list, etc.).

Volunteers are the heart of our organization. 

We rely on volunteers to help build and repair homes, work in our ReStore, assist in general office duties, serve on committees, advocate for affordable housing in our community and engage in our fundraising activities and community events.
