Building Schedule
The work crew for Florence Habitat builds every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, from 8:30 AM to about 2:00 PM. New volunteers are invited to join any work day.
The work site for the Hendricks-Davis house is located at 1660 19th Street, a block and a half west of Highway 101. .
Current Work in Progress
February 22, 2008
Nineteenth Street - We are building our thirteenth Habitat house at 1660 19th St. The roof is on and we're working on painting and interior framing.
Seventh and Laurel - We're planning to start construction sometime this Spring. Currently we're drawing up plans to submit to the City.
Keener Project - We're working on plans for our property on Ninth Street and hope to do site development work in the spring or summer of 2008. We're waiting on the City to make code changes before we submit plans ro approval.
ReStore -- Our ReStore sells used building materials the first weekend of every month. We need volunteers to help pick up and sort the building materials and to work during the garage sale. We're also looking for volunteers to manage the store during expanded hours.
