Our mission: Building houses in partnership with deserving Florence families to help them become homeowners.
New Executive Director Hired for Florence Habitat
Combining a passion for community building with her previous experience as an attorney, Kate McBroom-Redwine has been chosen as the new executive director of Florence Habitat for Humanity. An active volunteer in numerous Florence organizations, Redwine is a retired attorney. She was associated with Wisconsin Gas Company from 1983 to 2004, and she is founder and former chair of Natural Gas Claims & Litigation Association. As executive director, Redwine will be the public face of Habitat. Her bright auburn hair and confident manner give her an unmistakable presence. “We're looking forward to having Kate on board to continue our efforts to make decent, affordable housing available to the Florence community," said Habitat President Elenor Sullivan.
